I have been interested in pendulum sights for quite awhile but have never been able to find one that will give me dead on accuracy out to 30-32 yds, which is what I would require before hunting with one. I there such a thing out there. 26-27 yds is all I have been able to get out of the ones I have tried. I am shooitng about 265 fps. I have tried it at 28 with not much better success. I just shoot a 2 pin setup now, one at 25 and one at 35. I sure would like to find a pendulum that would work for me.

Nope at 265 feet per second that is all the range it has. mines the same way. 27 yards is far enough away from my tree. suits me..
I have two other pins on it also. one at 35 and one at 40.

I agree the 27 is normally enough, but occasionally I have the opportunity and have shot a couple of deer at 29-32 yds. What type of sight are you using that has the extra pins and do you have to reach up and lock down the pendulum in order to use them? I would like that extra movement once I realized the deer wasnt going to come inside of my 26 yd range. I can get my speed up to 285, by shooting lighter arrows but dont really want to go that route.

Is it close enough where you can aim top of deer and have it drop in to the boiler room? I Have gotten my pendulums to just 2-3 inches low at 30, don't remember my speeds when I had that.

I have a keller and my old Hoyt Super slam and shot 242 fps with my overdraw and would shoot fine out to 35 yards.I installed it on my cam1/2 hoyt and was dead on out to 35 yards. I could get more out of it if my house was not in the way.

I've only had pendulum sights. I have marks from 20-60, by five. Not that I'd shoot beyond 35 at a deer, but I just plain enjoy shooting my bow, and distance shooting is fun. Every year I swear I'm going to get to 100, buy every year I run out of time, too much to do.

I just got a Toxonics Sniper, it has a pendulum pin as well as two adjustable pins below it. I set the pend. at 20 which makes it right on from the tree to 27 yds. the other two are set at 35 and 45. Works great. I have shot Savage and Keller with my Legacy and the best dead on hold i could get was 27 yds.
