Bowkill Thread....let's get a head count
So I wonder out of all the thousands of members on this sight how many deer are taken with a bow in a season.
Here's the specifications...
1. Must be this year (2004 season)
2. Deer only. Whitetail, Black Tail, Muley or any other Deer Species (No elk, moose etc.)
3. Doe, buck, fawn...whatever.
4. Must be taken with a bow
5. Animal must be found...shot and unrecovered doesn't count.
Our season doesn't start till Oct. 1 here in Michigan, but I know some others have open season and have taken game already.
Here's how we count...
First person that replies as such.
8 point and a doe=2
Second reply...
2 does=4 total
Add yours to the total of the previous post and we can keep a running count and we'll see where we stand at the ennd of the season.
End of the season will be Jan. 31st. We'll take that number for the Bowhunting.com harvest total.
Break!
