Default opening day doe

Well, yesterday was opening day, and about 6:00 I had a doe under my stand and had to do it. She was about 3 yards away, and I let her hold it.
That Muzzy just ate it's lunch. She only ran about 40 yards. I am one happy hunter!!

Congrats. I had a big doe give me a broadside shot at her last night at about 15 yards. I couldn't take it, though, as she had her twin button bucks with her and was actually licking them, like cats do to their young, while they browsed on locust pods. I guess I'm a softy

Hehehehe... con/grates... looks like a Freudian slip there Car. Maybe thinking of grates in the stove? Shake 'em and get the fire going to grill up that doe. Actually, I was thinking the same thing.

Good job mobo, I hope to get my doe tag filled out ASAP too... the opener is right around the corner here.
