RE: need a target that lasts
Stay away from the Hole - they are absolute JUNK! Mine lasted less than 200 shots and then almost complete pass thrus. The customer service was for sh*t also. Their reply was, "..you pay to send it back, we'll look at it to see what is wrong and maybe we'll send one back...well just shoot at the outer edges..." Bunch of BS. I would say the Block isn't much better (made by the same company), but they are a bit thicker.
I just bought the Yellow Jacket ($30 at Bass Pro). Only shot a few arrows at it. My first impressions are good - good stopping ability, easy arrow removal, no pieces coming out with broadhead. However I really liked the Hole at first too. Gonn wait a bit before I give the YJ my full endorsement.

Out of four or five years I still have my first block, and it still takes broadheads. One thing though I cut the banding and swapped the layers, then rebanded.Nothing can withstand thousands of broadhead shots like they claim without loosing some of the foam.I still like my block targets.

I bought a yellow jacket after shooting a blcak hole. It is by far the best broadhead target I have ever shot. It is the easiest to pull out of too! Nothing beats it for broadhead shooting....but do not shoot field points into it! They are very hard to get out, I think its just cause they go in farther because the material inside the target is not meant for stopping field points. If you want a cheaper broadhead target, get the yellow jacket, by far the best in my opinion. It is also the lightest I have felt.
