I'll let you know in a few years. I'm thinking of hanging up my compound for a stick.

I don't care what it's shot with as long as it's memorable, that's a trophy to me.
I couldn't agree more. Well said bearklr. I think too many people are missing this point. Quality of the hunt determines trophy status for me and antler size is just a bonus.

You people just don't get it. It's suppose to be fun. I don't care if
you think it's more of a trophy or less
of a trophy. If you take it with anything other than
a Dodge, Ford or Chevy... enjoy it. If you enjoy it I'm happy for
you. It's not a contest where my medals are better
than yours or my dad is tougher than yours.
Good grief. I've killed deer with recurves, compounds, guns
and my wife got one with a Dodge.
All but that one were a trip. What's a trophy anyway, I've
never put a tape measure on a deer so I guess
I mustn't have any.

When I was younger I would take any legal animal. In my 20"s I began to seek out "trophy class" animals. Today in my mid thirties, I seem to be more intrested in a quality hunting expierence. For example, I intend to take my wifes 30.30 open sight Winchester mule deer hunting this year. I am not concerned so much with the size of the buck, just that I would like to take it with a western classic rifle, no gizmos or scopes.

Trophies are those objects they give for bowling, golf, racing cars, etc.

The type of bow is not a factor. Regardless of what you are using you still have hunt the deer, put yourself in the right location at the right time, and make the shot.
