Well I just picked up a Patriot VFT. I had him put a Ultra Rest on it. I need to take it out and shoot it a little to see how she does. The bow looks good I was tempted by the Mathews Outback but decided to go with the Patriot. I hope I made a good choice. I'll let you guys know how things go Thanks.

The VFT bows have problems using the muzzy zero effect in its traditional configuration because they have very little movement of the cables on the cable slide. This is what actuates the Muzzy, so if it doesn't move enough it will be hard to get set up and the timing may be way off. Sometimes you can get them to work, I couldn't on mine. At least not in a mannor that I was comfortable with. I will just put it back on my darton is all.
Also on my bow I found it put a fair amount of stress on the cable guard, more that what I wanted. Mine even came loose once. Like I said though, they make another style that hooks to the buss cable instead. It should work better on the VFT style bows.

I have an 04 Liberty and had a few problems fitting the NAP 4000 due to cable slide travel issues. We just could not get the rest to come up to 100% - with either the NAP supplied slide nor the std Bowtech slide. Eventually we removed the cable that comes with the NAP rest, threaded through some rope and stuck this through the cable below the cable slide. 1,000 shots later and all is still ok - rest comes up 100%. Just not as tidy as one would've like though.....

There really is only one way to go with that decision.
