Peep site size

I have a peep site that has a smaller hole in it. Should I switch to a bigger site? I kind of want to stick with the smaller site incase I see a big buck. That way I can have the site covering the antlers!

I prefer the larger hole to let in more light. I think mine is about 3/16" in diameter. Go out and practice in low light and shoot at a blank bale to see if your peep hole is large enough. It would suck if that big old buck walked out just before dark and you could not see well enough to pick a spot.

Large peep is best for hunting. Just line it up with the outer perimeter of your sight. Of course not using a peep is your best solution for low light problems. I just line my string up with my cables/riser at full draw.

Zak.............I guarentee you will regret having a small peep while hunting. Flecher Super Hunter is very light and inexpensive. Super Peep is great because you can change sizes, but when hunting I take out any size and use it full size. Try your peep 10 minutes before legal quitting time. You high in a stand looking towards the ground which is the same color as the ground. You won't be able to see through a small peep!
Try it!
Good Luck!
