Great news kybuck1. Sure sounds like you were foaming at the mouth last night with the wife trying to muzzle you even in pre-season. Whew!!! By the way, where is Danville, KY.? I attended UK in the mid 70's and cannot recall where your hometown is. Just curious. Good luck this season and GO CATS!

Man, that would get my heart pumping! Getting out and seeing just one nice buck is great. I can't imagine seeing that many at the same time. Good luck this season!

Jimpok61 Danville is about 30 miles south of Lexington, and peashooter you are absolutely right, I myself have never seen anything like that and probably never will again. I did go back and glass the area again tonite. I didn't the number of deer I saw last night but did see a 130-140 class 8 pt, and a 150+ class 10 pt. Saw a couple of smaller bucks that I normally would be tickled to death to see and a couple of does and I all but ignored them. I won't be back there until Sat September 4th at 4:00 pm

I only wish I could be so lucky to see a herd like that. I only wish I could see that many deer in a season. Do you have a room for rent?

To put things in perspective 3 years ago I hunted the whole season literally, probably missed less than 20 days of the whole season and never saw the first deer while hunting. Man I must like sitting alone in the woods alot

Instead of paying a lease per se, use the money to buy signs to post the property as your lease payment, and call in trespassers when necessary.
