Can a deer go 300-350 yards double lunged?

human bodys that are trained well and i mean olympic quality not your average couch potato, can operate with little to NO oxygen for up to 5 minutes. why woudlnt a finely tumned nature athlete be abel to do it as well. they can run faster than us, jump higher, smell better hear better in some cases even that 6th sence... i dont doubt nature i have seen stranger things happen

Daystalker....A finely tuned athlete may be able to operate for 5 minutes without oxygen...but his lungs are still full of air. They're not full of blood.
It's one thing to take a breath and not have any air. It's entirely another to take a breath and breath solid blood.

Ok... I glanced at a couple replies and I just got to let the chips fall where they may. I'm not trying to stir the pot, but the answer to the original question is... (DRUM ROLL)... a resounding %@# NO!
Score a dead nuts true blue pass through double lunger and it's game over. I'm not talking about one solid lung and nicking the other. Your "tracking" job can be done at a dead run from the base of the tree as soon as you get your safety belt off. You'd be lucky to go more than 40 yards if you sent the arrow right through the boiler room.

I haven't had to track a single double lung hit deer yet.........I just go pick em' up.
Seriously........a true confirmed double lung hit deer is simply not going hundreds of yards. I would need a coroner's report to convince me otherwise.

The biggest buck I killed to date with a bow was a "marginal" double lung. The entry side lung was drilled, but the angle just nicked the other lung. I thought I made a perfect shot and he'd go down in short order. He only went about 40 yards before laying down and coughing up blood and lung, but got up and ended up nearly 400 yards. I found him the next day laying in a creek bed. Thank goodness for cold weather as the meat was still in good shape as well.
They're will to live is incredible.

I wouldn't say impossible but I have never seen a true double lung shot deer run for more than about 60 to 70 yards. I will say that about 75% of them I have double lunged have only ran about 35 yards.

Well, all I can say is that if are interested to watch the video, then take a look. Calling it a lie without seeing it, IMO is taking a big stance. I don't know how much more respectable you can possible get then the NRA and Drury. No, I don't have an autopsy report, but from what I and the Drurys saw, it sure looked like a double lunger. It was only 15 yards total broadside.
Like I said, until I saw it, I probably would not have believed it, or would have at least been skeptical.
