Default Anybody have problems with treestands spooking deer?

Was wondering if anyone has experienced problems with treestand noise spooking bucks? If so, what brand(s).

I don't think it's so much a matter of the brand of treestand as it is the general upkeep of the stands. If you check each stand every year and make sure they're well oiled you shouldn't have any real creaks or groans from shifting your weight.

Never had a problem with it myself.

YES, I had a older climber that would squik if I shifted my weight. It found a new home that winter .I make most of my latter and hang on stands now. A lower end stand has a higher chance to make noise , but a friend has a $ 300+ climber that made noise till we put some teflon washer between 2 parts .IMO I would buy a stand from some place local try it out in the yard and return if it makes noise. I have found that hard soled boots can make lots of noise and the wrong jacket materal will rub the tree and make noise

That's the reason I bought the Summit Viper XLS. No moving parts other than the cables. Solid as a rock.
