my wife tripped a fuse this morning with a freakin blow dryer. A few minutes ago she ask me to see what was wrong with the outlet.... ckecked it saw that the outlet needed to be reset . All it took was to push a reset button. So, why am I so ticked? this caused the outlet to my deep freezer to turn off also. Four butchered and packed deer where in there. Thats a lot of meat wasted ruined and IT STINKS BAD.
Well This doesn't go with bow hunting Just had to vent some anger.

Hey look on the up side it could be for a good reason. It happened to me last year my dog somehow unplugged it. Sucked a whole bunch of venison and store bought stuff couple of wild turkeys and a store bought one. And so on. Well then here comes season and opening day I shoot my first elk then late season I shot the biggest buck that I have ever gotten.
It sucks but I am just saying hopefully gods got another reason for it.

10point ,
there's another smell to that story , and it smells fishy . There's no way that your freezer was off for only one day , even a crappy one filled that full should keep the food frozen for at least 2 days if the door isn't opened . After that the freezer would be at fridge temps for several days . My Dad had a stand up freezer that got unplugged once , it took almost a week before the food began to spoil . A solution of bleach followed by a baking soda scrub will remove most of the smell .

To get the smell out you will need to turn it off, leaving the top open until it is all thawed out. Then hose out all the loose stuff and what comes loose easily. Then mix baking soda with water and use a scrub brush on it, it will take some work, but the baking soda will get most of the smell out. If you keep an open baking soda box in the freezer once you have it up and running again, just replace it every few months, the baking soda absorbs odors.

A freezer would have to be off for a couple of days before things would spoil and start to stink. Theres just no way that could happen in one day - even with 90 degree daytime temps. I wouldn't think that an exterior outlet and a bathroom would be on the same circuit, either.

That sucks. My friend had the something simular and he lost the deer I shot for him that year. Next time you may want to get something that will warn you when the power trips. Some type of alarm or light that plugs into the socket and goes off if the outlet looses power. I think you should be able to find something at the local hardware store.
