That white residue left behind from your home brew spray is your best friend!!!!
That is a visual reference that the stuff is still working.
When the white stuff disappears its time to start thinking about spraying some more. IME

I hear ya. Since I had a lot of the stuff last year, I sprayed the inside of my pickup truck. Everything had that white residue, not that I really cared. I have an old '88 Mazda pickup, B2200 that I use for deer transportation until the heavy snow sets in. It's does not do well in the snow.
