Default Mathews Q2 arrived today, time to rig it

I previously mentioned the opportunity that I had to purchase one of the discontinued Q2's, which I know is a great bow, even if it isn't the latest and greatest. It was offered in 2000 and discontinued this year. Since it was discontinued, I was able to pick it up from Mathews for $228 delivered to my door. Now it's time to accessorize for hunting. Some things I have decided on, others I need advice.

I want to add the following:

Whisker Bisquit
Tru Glow Sure Bright single pin
Kisser button
String loop

The things I still need help with are as follows:

Type/size of peep (rubber tube or not)
Quiver (still struggle with this one but may only want a 3-4 arrow capacity)
Carbon Arrows to go with it
Also, do you think this bow needs a stabilzer and simms products (are doinkers and stealth really worth $50?)

The riser has the harmonic dampeners but this series does not have the string silencer. Since I just rec'd the bow, I don't know how loud it is nor the amount of hand shock.

Mathews Q2, 30 inch draw, 34 inch ATA

thx for the help.

Man what a deal! I have been shooting a Q2 for 3 years now and it's one great bow. I gave $530 for mine and wouldn't trade it for any bow Mathews makes. Good luck.

I SECOND THAT MOTION, what a deal..

I have the Q2 and love it..

I have sims limbsavers and a pair of rubber whiskers..

I have to admit if i didnt have the whiskers, it would be TOO MUCH twang...

But out of all my friends bow, LX , Legacy, and Q2xl, Mines the quietest....

Great Bow,

You'll Love it..

What a steal! I would have picked up 10 or 20 and started listing them on eBay.
