Default Outback or LX???

I'm getting ready to buy a new Mathews and can't decide on which one. Any feedback would be appreciated.

There was a post about this on mathews website. It was probably a 60-40 split with the outback being favored. Pretty much everybody said if your going to hunt with it get a outback, if its for target shooting only then get the lx.

I test shot both bows, and i though both were great. i ended up with an LX. its slightly faster, slightly more accurate, and had noticeably less hand shock. it all comes down to personal opinion. shoot both. both are manuverable in a treestand, although the outback is more being 4 inches shorter ATA. like i said, its all a matter of personal opinion. you have to shoot both.

I FOUND JUST THE OPPOSITE , THE LX FELT LIKE THE BOW WAS CRACKED WHEN I SHOT IT , THEN THE OUDBACK WAS SMOOTH AS ICE,, ALTHOUGH THE LX IS SLIGHTLY FASTER MY OUTBACK IS GETTING 285FPS WITH 100 GRAIN TIPS AND LORD ONLY KNOWS HOW HEAVY MY ARROWS ,SO THE OUTBACK WAS MY BOW OF CHOICE AND MY GROUPS HAVE NEVER BEEN TIGHTER, I OWNED THE LEGACY AND I AM REAL GLAD I UPGRADED TO THE OUTBACK

Here is my experience. I have shot a Q2 for the past 3 seasons and love it. Last year my cousin bought a new LX. I was thinking of checking one out and couldn't wait to shoot his. After shooting his I really thought it was a nice bow, but not enough better than my Q2 to justify shelling out the money for one, so I stuck with my Q2. This year I started hearing about the Outback and was anxious to check it out. I talked to my local pro shop owner and he said that they were really blown away at the show when they shot the Outback and said he would call me when he got his first shipment in. Well he finally called me and all the way there I thought that if it didn't shoot that much better than the Q2 I wouldn't buy one, just like I did the LX. Well, to make a long story short, after about 3 shots I knew my wallet was in trouble. Before I left I had one on order. I am glad that I waited and didn't buy the LX last year. Just my opinion but I really love my Outback.
