Well then you are lucky to have a large selection of stands with a chance at big bucks...must be a great LOCATION.

You also need to hit the dang things!
rookelkhunter, Hell of a point! I have a friend with that problem. Soon as a buck steps into shooting range his brain turns to mush!

Naahh not at all. I often feel like I'm hunting land that no one wants most of the time. I do however have lots of places to hunt but I've nocked on many doors to get them. And big bucks, they're not the norm around here and a 120 has everyone stopping by to take a look.

A 120 would garner a huge amount of attention in my hunting spots as well.

I see what you're saying more as a timing thing then a location thing. Hell, a mature buck probably walks past 1,000 trees a week. They are all good if you happen to be in them at the right time.

Good - you keep thinking your way and I will keep thinking myway

Jigging, casting, trolling? Your technique is the problem.

You can add up every one of your six and you still don't have JACK unless you can actually shoot, which is skill numero uno. You can sit in all the pre-scouted feeder fed hunting preserve deer hunts you like, wearing a few hundred bucks worth of scent lok gear, and still miss those cattle like bucks just the same...and for 10 straight years if you are dumb enough to keep footing the bill...and dumb enough not to seek out some counseling in the interim.

Location, location, location...I couldn't agree more...the location of your arrow.
