RE: Who shoots a Darton?
Another Darton lover here! I went in to Len's shop with the intention of buying a new Hoyt. I shot a few of them, and then being a lefty as well, I was able to shoot Len's bow a few times to feel out the Darton.
That being said, I walked out with a new Maverick Extreme and haven't looked back. Even with my short draw length it smokes an arrow plenty fast for my hunting style (268 fps or so), and with a few accesories is whisper quiet.
If Darton just keeps on doing what they are doing, and offering the solid warranties and customer service that they do, they will be around for a long time!

Yeah I have a Darton that I use off and on! But then I also have/had a Mathews, a Hoyt, a McPherson, a Merlin, an Alpine, a Jennings....I better stop. I might die from sticker shock if I continue.
Although I can't get the "deals" on them I used to, they still give a person a lot of bang for the buck (no pun intended). The thing I like about Darton in addition to their customer service and quality product, is the fact that when you read their IBO numbers, in most cases, it is a real number, not a fantasy.

I DO I DO!!! i have a darton nomad. it is my first bow. but it sure is good. and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg to get. i spent 350 for bow, quiver, sight, rest, arrows and release. it is very very quiet and deadly accurate. it is only the single cam (which i like). i have taken one doe with it already.
