RE: Here are what kind of broadheads are in my quiver
I use to always shoot Muzzy's but now I have some Thunderheads as well. Before you ask me why, I call it pure peer presure. A freind of mine hunts the Thunderheads so I bought them last.

I really dont see how 3 different broadheads, not matter the same weight or not, fly the same...the fixed heads should fly a little bit different than the mech.'s. and you just change arrows according to range? oh well, to each his own...i prefer just having one type of head in my quiver..

I've never hunted mechs but believe they do what they say and fly like field points. My fix blades have always flown the same as my field points. I don't both practicing with them anymore. I know what to expect, dead deer. I did have a big problem with the Hoyt's. They had one big blade that was like a spear point and another one on each side. That head flew high eveytime. I quit using them quick.

So if a deer was at 20 yards and you couldn't get a shot, then walked out to a longer distance you would try and change arrows?
I follow the KISS method of bowhunting, so that would never work for me.One type of broad head that I know will perform at my max distance.
