Does an inch or two in axel to axel length really make a big difference in the forgiveness of the bow? Also, what is the importance of a taller brace height? Thanks guys.

I highly doubt you would notice a difference. A larger brace height is better because the arrow leaves the string quicker which means there is a smaller chance of a torque of the hand affecting the arrow. Also the larger brace height will not smack your arm as much if thats a problem.
