Default carbon vs. allum.

I just started shooting some carbon arrows yesterday and they are faster but they group the same as my allum without ajusting my sites. Is this normal? Or is it just me?

In some cases, yes. It depends on the diameter and spine of the two shafts being compared. If they are both similar then I see no reason why they should not group relatively close together.

I had two carbons of different spines with different points and different overall weights group at the exact same spot so I see no reason why a similar situation could not occur between a carbon and an aluminum arrow.

I've never had this occure. I also haven't shot alluminum for a long time but my last switch I made was from PSE dominators to gold tip pro hunters. I had to retune my bow and reset my sights as well. Have you shot at diffrent distances or through paper since the change?

It's pretty normal at close yardages, I noticed the same thing in fact about two weeks ago while shooting a friends aluminums. However, the longer the yardage the greater the difference, I can pretty much interchange them out to 20 yards, but at thirty there's a couple of inches difference.

I seem to shoot about an inch higher at 20 yards and same at 30 yards. I have just switched to the PSE /Dominators--300
