Does any one use the bigfoot stand?I'm thinking about buying one and would like to know how you like the stand? Is it quiet or do you have to put plastic washers on,to make it quiet?Thankyou for any info you can give me.

I don't know much about rivers edge stands. If the big foot is a Hang on style stand, then you realy need to take a look at the Summit Copperhead hang on. I was able to try one out a few weeks ago. I hate to sound like a broken record, but it was the finest hang on stand I have ever tried. It hangs realy fast, and is so stable and comfortable you won't belive it. If it is a climber than you realy need to check out the Summit viper XL, it is the best climber I have ever used. If I could find a better stand I would use it, but I haven't found one yet.

I have 2 Bigfoots. One regular/steel version and one of the alum. Lite versions. For the $$ they are a fine stand. I bought a Lone Wolf Alpha hang-on with lone wolf climbing sticks this season and I wont use nothing else now! But the Bigfoots for the money are nice. They hang easy, and are solid in the tree. They have a nice size platform and are relatively quiet, just not as quiet as the Lone Wolf! hunter44: If I would have seen some lites for $29.00 each I would have bought everyone they had!! What a price!!!

I got them at Mejier they had alot of stands left this year. I also got 2 other called Gorilla lites.
I have several stands Ladder hangon and a Summit climber. When I see stands cheap I cant pass them up. My wife says I am a stand collector. I say one can never have to many stands...Good luck stand hunting.

I have the Rivers Edge lounger ladder stand. And the regular ladder stand that they make in my stand collection. Excellent quality, really comfortable too. This year I will be adding a few hang-ons, most likely the bigfoot.
