Well at day break I finally popped a shot at one and hit him way to far back. The juice trail was almost non existant. It was a complete pass through that left a few seeds on the shaft. I followed the vine at first then when that ended just a few drops of juice and 2 or 3 seeds, then the trail just disappeared! Now what????

Tomatoes can be tough sometimes. I've seen them roll all the way from vegetables to the toilet paper isle without getting much more than a little bruise. He'll be fine and adding to the pasta sauce in no time.

The challenge is determining front from back on a round animal such as a tomato.......typically they like to face into the direction of the sun so shoot accordingly.
Learn from this mistake and make every effort to make a clean shot next time.......maybe study an anatomy chart?<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Was it a MECHANICAL? If so, that explains it, hahahahahaha. I figured that I would make a little crack on the fixed/mechanical battle that occurs EVERY fall. haha
