Mathews String Stretch?
#2
Your going to experience some stretch. Not much, but a little. On my last bow, (a Mathews Legacy) I put a Winners Choice on it and it also stretched a little. If you shoot as much as I do, a string is going to stretch a little. I let the pro shop where I bought mine twist the string a little to where it should be.

Too much......now that I have seen the light !!
My LX had to be re-timed 4 times before it quit stretching ! My Outback had to be re-timed twice in 3 months and my peep was turning bad ! To compound my Outback trouble.........when trying to straighten it out myself.......I discovered that the serving had seperated in the roller guard area on my cable and had slipped at the post on my cam to the point that I could barely get it off to change it out to a Winner's choice !
The Winner's Choice is awesome....moved slightly and locked in ! It is quieter on my Outback and hasn't moved since my first adjustment ! I did lose some fps ........but the benifits outweigh that !!

I just put a new z twist string and new buses on my Legacy and have exoerienced very little stretch. I've put probably 1000 arrows through it and I've had to retime it once and it's shooting bulletholes now.
