Well I went and done it. I got a Mathews FX bow today. I know its not in their top line and near the bottom but a budget speaks loudly sometimes. The dealer set it up and allowed me to shoot it before buying it. I feel in love with it after shooting it. It didn't even have limbsavers on it and I thought it was fairly quiet. I had the limbsavers added on it and had the accesseries put on it. WB arrow rest and then the dealer took me outside to the range and helped me get the sights hitting right. I think it is a quiet bow for sure with the accessories on it. At least compared to other bows I have owned. I am looking forward to putting down a deer with this new bow. And its good to be a part of the Mathews family!! ONly thing I would love is if it would have had the dampners on it, but the FX does not have them. The next available Mathews bow that had them was another 130.oo dollars and after shooting it I didn't feel it neccesary to shell out the rest just for the dampners. Thanks for listening to me ramble on about my new bow. I am very excited.

Good for you Whitey!.........glad to hear you are having a good time with your new bow.
Not a thing wrong with your FX, so don't be looking longingly at the "Next model Up", enjoy the one you have and be proud of it.
Hope you shoot the heck out of them this season!

I shot the Feather lite for 4 years before I upgraded to the legacy and I really liked that little bow. It was quiet and had no vibration, but I added limbsavers also. The FX is just a newer version of the feather lite.
