New member here. Do any of you shot a Mathews Icon? If so, what can you tell me about it (pros/cons, etc.)? Did a quick search for info/feedback on the Mathews Icon, but didn't find anything, so I apologize if this is a repeat question. What benefits/differences does the Concentric Solocam give compared to the usual HP/MaxCam??
I recently sold my FeatherMax which I used for seven seasons, so I'm in the market for a new bow. I've shot the Outback, LX, Liberty, & X-Tec so far. Nice bows, but I'm very curious about the Icon. I've pretty much narrowed my search down to the Legacy/Icon. The Icon's numbers look real good (brace height, A-to-A, etc) but none of the shops in my area have one that I can give a test run. They'll all gadly order me one, but then I have to buy it. I have a fairly long draw @ 30½", and the bow I'm looking for will solely a hunting bow (whitetail) which I do from a treestand (climbing).
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Either the ICON OR LEGACY are great bows--i have a LEGACY and am very happy with it.I think the Icon might be a little bit smoother on the draw and the Legacy is a little bit faster so...it all depends on your preference.Shoot 'em both and get the one you like best would be my advice but if you can't try the Icon without ordering it i would be a liitle skeptical--it's a tough call but either bow will shoot great!

If I was still shooting fingers, the only bow I'd own is an Icon. It's draw cycle is Super Smooth! I've been shooting with a release for the last several years and opted for a more harsher cam. I traded my Legacy for the new Outback, but would definately shoot an Icon if I'd go back to fingers. Hope this helps.
