Default Summer Bow Hunting??

I am a teacher and have the end of June, July and the first of August off. I would like to take a road trip and go after some big game with my bow. I would really like to stay away from game ranches and would like to stay as far north as possible. Do any of you know of any states that have bow hunting durring these mounths?

Well I am sationed in California in the USMC. Bowhunting starts July the 10th this year in CA for Blacktails, and Mule deer. But I dont think you want to travel all the way to CA.

Try hunting chipmunks around the house its fun helps with practice and gets rid of them.

Pennsylvania has several places advertizing hog hunting. That might be close enough and far north enough for you.

Bigbuck,
I believe that caribou opens mid to late August. With you living in Maine, Quebec is just North of you.

Giblet, here in Ontario Moose (Archery) opens the second week of September
