Default HELP! I need a favor from Bow Tech, Hoyt & Mathews shooters.

I have a request for everyone that shoots a Bow Tech, Hoyt or Mathews.
Go to you local pro shop & shoot a Darton Typhoon. After you shoot the Darton Typhoon give me your HONEST opinion of this bow compaired to your bow.
Please keep an open mind when shooting this bow against your bow. I paid around $900 for a Hoyt XTec all set up with rest, sights, stabilizer & quiver. One month after I bought the Hoyt I shot the Darton Typhoon. The pro shop owner took my hoyt on trade. I gave him $50.00 to take the Hoyt & set up the Darton with my sight, rest & stabilizer. He gave me a new quiver, limb savers & leaches. My Hoyt quiver was never used.
After my first shot with the Typhoon I fell in love. I told the pro SOLD.
Your turn to be the judge. Shoot it & tell me what you think???

no need to try the Darton here, I have a new Outback. Am perfectly happy with my decision.

I shot a Darton Rampage last year & was not impressed. This year I shot the Typhoon & the Rampage. I still did not like the Rampage. The Typhoon is an animal. I love it!

I did shoot the darton maverick and the avalanche, and the avalanche felt much better to me.i traded my extreme-solo in for the new patriot, after shooting the bowtechs the dartons were no comparison.Dont get me wrong, the dartons are very good bows but i was sold on the patriot.
Now if my bow would only arrive

I shot the rampage , avalanche , and typhoon. They're solid hunting bows , but not what I was looking for. I also think the avalanche was one of the loudest bows I tested.

Not trying to offend you here but it sounds like your proshop took you to the bank. You had to pay him $50 plus your Xtec?

Glad to see you found the bow for you. More proof that one size does not fit all. Enjoy it!

I've shot & owned Darton bows for years. Solid designs, very accurate, smooth to draw, very fast. But IMO they still need to tone down noise, recoil & vibration, even on newer models like the Avalanche & Typhoon which I have handled and shot.

Different strokes for different folks and all that

I don't think I got ripped off at all. I gave him a bow I used for one month.
He gave me string leaches & limb savers.
We traded quivers.
