When i applied it to my hunting area I didnt notice much activity around it.Of course, I poured it out into the ground around August. You all say that it would be best to put it out in the spring when the deer are consuming the most minerals? I would of course stop using it if that is true about the addictive properties being harmful for deer or other wildlife. The Archery Shop owner also posted pics of his deer "snortin'" all that stuff up. I also think it is a great idea to support the deer herds health in these times of drought by providing nutrition and minerals when they need it most.

I aggree with Justthrowit. This is was I use and the deer tear it up. But you have to remember mineral licks of any kind are only going to be used on the regular bases during certain times of the year. Usually right after the Rut, During the late Spring and early summer when does are carrying young'ins and when the bucks are growing new racks. These are the times that I have noticed that the deer are digging up everything I put out.
