I saw on here or another site (could very well be the latter.) a recommendation away from the MT Sport, as it was an entry level bow and not quiet as technologiclly advanced as Hoyts other bows. Then a suggestion was made about perhaps buying some other bows anywhere from 250 dollars more and up in price than the MT sport (or the bow replacing it in Hoyt's line). What's up with that. I believe I could go my entire life and never buy a new bow (save for replacing it after wearing it out) and be happy. Well, I consider the 245 dollars I spent on my MT Sport several years ago, to be the best money I've ever spent on any hunting equipement ever. I've shot it a great deal with only a little preventative maintenance keeping it in top form, banged the heck outt it in the woods without a problem, and shoot it more accurrately than any bow I've ever owned, or borrowed to test shoot. I couldn't be more confident drawing back on an animal if I quit my job and spent my entire day and life savings searching for a bow that would ultimatly make me more confident in my tree. Needless to say I would have to disagree with anyone having anything negative to say about this "entry level" bow. In closing I'd like to say I really, really like my MT Sport very much!! Some day I'll show you a picture of it if I can ever get a rack buck to dare come in range of my tree!!! Enjoy, Juniorpc

I must agree with you. I love my MT Sport. It is the best shooting bow that I've ever used. The price was right too! I'd recommend it to anybody at any level. It's all you need for hunting purposes.

I just sold my MT Sport a couple weeks ago and regret it. I became very accurate with it and had no problems with it.
I like my new Bowtech but there is nothing wrong with the MT Sport.
If you want a new bow keep the MT Sport.

I had a mt sport with cam1/2, I shot well with it killed 2 deer with it. The only thing I didnt like was the thick rubber grip. Shoot a bowtech justice now, like this bow even
better.

Nice buck John. That is the kinda picture I'm talking about. My brother saw the post and dropped a picture off of me, my MT Sport and the last scrubby 5pt I shot with it!. My wife laughed as much as he did when I got home and opened it. Anyway. I'll keep plugging away! Juniorpc.

i have an mt sport cam & 1/2 not for anything but for the money it can't be beat it's a great little bow !

What were you shooting for arrows out of your Hoyt and at what poundage?
Now I am shooting Easton 2217s at 60lbs w/ a draw length of 29"... just looking for any other ideas.

I have an ultra-sport,which is the 2004 version of the mt sport.I love it,and it being a beginner bow is bull.At around $415 completely set up,you can't beat the price ,either.Sweet shooting bow,light and affordable.Keep your mt!
