The H.R.A.O.P. is the opposite of what I want to give you sometimes........

Seriously,The "Honorary Rack Award for Outstanding Post" is the resurection of a custom we had here when the site first started up about 4yrs ago. The little "Rack/skull" symbol was a recognition of a post that a moderator deemed a high quality post. It was a little badge of honor to actually try to make meaningful and thoughtful posts now and then and get recognized for it.

I'm gonna keep it ready for the next person I think deserves it.

this is a great post vc,
I try my hardest to get people into the sport whenever I can. I am currently working on one freind and a wife. Hopefully in the near future I will be working on a kid, boy or girl. I try to pass on my knowledge of the outdoors, what little I have
to everybody who seems a little interested, most of the time even those who aren't. I recently helped get my best freind into archery, I was like 2 years ago actually but it felt so good to bring someone in. Currently I am working on another freind and think I have him convinced. I am also working on getting my wife into just shootin with me. I have told her that there is no way you can be stressed out when you are focused on hitting one little dot. Then the reward you feel when you hit that dot is even better than that. She is a little reluctant because she doesn't know if she'll like it but I'm gonna keep trying. Man will it feel good if I can get her into shooting. Then maybe I'll try for the hunting part, as she does love going with me. Once again great post vc.

I switched clubs this year to one that cost quite a bit more $. It was so I had a place to take my boys to shoot a paper animal round. They will take their compounds, and I will take my "new" recurve and wood arrows. I think we will have fun. Any of their friends that want to go along are most welcome!
