Default Hand Shock

I shoot a High Country Carbon 4-runner extreme. A friend bought this Browning Ambush 80 I think. He couldn't get a group out of it as this was his first time shooting a bow. He asked me to shoot it and see if it is grouping. When I did the bow about jumped out of my hand. I couldn't believe the amount of shock it had there. Now I know why I paid the moeny I did for my bow.

P.S. I did get good groups with the browning. It was a good bow for the price he paid.

I haven't been a Browning fan ever since the wood risered Excellerator I had. What a dud that bow was! [:'(]

Just about any bow can be made more comfortable to shoot. Adjust the tiller and cam timing, and use a heavier arrow.

Ditto on what Arthur stated. I would agree that either tiller or cam timing is not correct. Both can produce significant recoil/bow jump. I have shot the Ambush 80 and would not consider it to be harsh in this regard.
