RE: searching for a new bow
Any of the Hoyt's should serve you well. Please do yourself a favor, DO NOT buy a bow unless you have shot it first. That means go to several archery shops and shoot several differant bows. It must feel comfortable in your hand, even if its not a hoyt!

Nothing wrong with PSE's. However, if you are looking at them, the baby-g might not be your best choice. For the same money, you could get a thunderbolt which IMO is a much better bow to shoot than the baby-g. IBO is 300 so yes, you can make it fast if thats your thing. The main thing is get a bow YOU like and one that fits all of YOUR needs. (and of course one that fits you properly) Don't get caught up in having to have what is the most popular or most expensive. There are alot of great bows available that won't break the bank.
ALESN87, the buckmaster is a nice bow. Another you might want to take a look at is the PSE nova bow kits. They are a great first bow IMO, and they are easy on the wallet. Reflex makes some nice kits as well
