I am still searching for my very first Turkey. Ii is very frustrating. I have been hunting now for 4 years with no bird. [:@] I am getting close though. And when I do, it's time to celebrate.

Hey man I hunted 4 years and finally got my first in my 5th season. It was the 4th season when I really learned a lot though. I spent a ton of time hunting them and put 4 years of knowledge together for and got 2 birds my 5th year. Good luck and remember to just learn from being in the woods with them.

each day teaches you somethimg. learn from the mistakes you make and don't do them anymore.once you take one the rest will come a little easer

A.R. be patient. It took until my 5th season and the third last day of that season. Now I've shot a bird every year since.

This will be my first year as well and if i don't hunt on a friends property the 3rd or 4th week in the season then i to will be without a turkey my first year!!!

a. r. i know exactly how you feel. i've been turkey hunting for four years and i've had some very very close calls. but i have yet to connect on one. so hopefully this will be both of our lucky seasons.
