This is my first year in the bowhunting picture. I have a high country carbon 4 runner but I have an aluminum riser on it. Im shooting Gold Tip arrows. I have everything except for broadheads. I want to know what the best design/weight I should use for them. My arrows are cut for a 29 1/2 inch draw length and I am shooting 65 lbs if that makes a difference. Any input would be great and the price isnt really an issue. Thank you.

I woudl look into a good solid design like the rocky mountain Ti-100 or the new Supreme XP. Both are 100 grains and will perform great!
If you want a mechanical look at the Snyper or Ironhead XP.
Good Luck!

jbrodie7, there are many brands and models of broadheads to choose from. You need to decide what grain weight you want to shoot first. Basically, tune your bow and practice.
When you do decide on what broadhead you want to shoot, tune your bow to the broadheads, not the broadheads to your field points.
Check out the broadhead poll on hunts from last year and I strongly suggest you type in "broadheads tests". There you will find a link to 5Shots' broadhead tests(I forgot the URL).

Go to www.broadheadtests.com I put some good info on there about picking a broadhead as well as tunning. If you have any specific questions drop me an email and I will help out any way I can.

I agree rocky mountains are very good and 100 grain would work the best to give the penetration you need. I use the rocky 100 grain gators mechanical and fixed I used titaniums. good luck!!!
