thanks for the link. I did look at it and then went to cabelas. cabelas has a cam on sale now for 69.00. not knowing to much, starting from scratch with the link above, im guessing cost about double that. call me lazy, but 69.00 is hard to beat. again i dont know what the best game cam offers compared to this one but for a beginner its a good start. thanks again.....Mitch

He builds and sells the chip boards and directs you where to find the other stuff. I actually had him build me a camera because I'm not very electronic friendly. Turned out to be a great camera. I'd reccommend him.

I built one a few years back. Worked well durring the day, but was having problems with flash at night. I had the camera behind some glass to close the box off. i wouldn't put any glass in if I built another. It cost me about $60 bucks to build, so I am just going to buy some instead of making more. Also, I didn't like how the motion detector worked.
