RE: If it hadent happend to me I wouldn't believe it...
I had the exact thing happen to me as stalker 22 almost to a tee! I was using those heads with the little springy fingers on it and after listening to this squirrel bark at me for ten minutes (ballsey thing to do) I drew back and drilled him, knocking out of this tree from about 15 feet up. Next thing you know he flopping arounf on the ground, hopps up and proceeds to climb up the tree. I just stood there in amazement as my arrow goes higher and higher and higher!!!
I hung out for a few minutes and left, the next day my arrow was at the bottom of the tree and no squirrel!
The only other time I was so angry with a squirrel I shot at them, I pinned one to the side of a tree about 20 feet up. Every now and then when I'm in that area, I still see that arrow up in that tree and think about that unluckey squirrel!
Why is it when you have your shotgun, and your looking for some of those critters, their MIA????[:@][:@]

I shot at a squirl once in a tree... Missed it...but scared the $%^#^& out of it when the arrow went by. It tried to jump from one brach to another and missed. Fell a long ways to its death. Deader than dead on the ground without a scratch!

I had a run in with porkies!!! Got into my stand and could hear this hiccup like sound then a wine but could not see where it was exactly. I knew it was behind and above me and that it wasn't moving so neither was I. I did not know it was a porkie until another one came walking through, making the same noises, and straight to the bottom of my tree. Well up he/she went right next to me in my stand for about a half hour then he left. The other stayed there till I got back later to take care of things. I guess they were looking for a little action or something!!!
