Looking to get into Bow hunting but, I have a short draw length, maybe around 25" ( no real pro shops close) , and being a woman I don't have alot of strength to pull a bow back. I have been doing alot of reading and looking at webcites for info , and talking to some hunters but they are not much help
, not having alot of money ,ya know the story other people need it first or else. I would like to help put food on the table in this manner..
Sorry so what is a good cheap starter bow with as much on it as possible to get me going????

There are a lot of good starter bows. PSE Nova and Reflex Gamegetter are a couple. Both are very good starter bows. I am using a Reflex Gamegetter now and am very pleased with it. You can get the PSE Nova package with everything to get you going except arrows for 200 dollars or a little less. The Gamegetter is a little more, but both are very good bows. For you not being able to pull much, they make a few exercises to build your pulling ability that could help you pull more. Hope this helps.

Check out Bass Pro and Cabela's and see what they offer........that'll give you an idea of what's out there..........you need to be measured by a good pro shop to see what draw length you are for sure. After you get started, you will become stronger and pull more weight......

I have A PSE Nova and I really like it for my 1st bow. After watching me shoot a few times, my wife wanted to try it. Its set at 53lbs and she couldn't even start to pull it back. But with your shorter draw length, you might be able to get it back. It has a 75% let off so that helps a lot. I'm looking for a 30 to 40lb bow for her to shoot but she doesn't plan on hunting with it. I am not sure what the minimum draw weight is for shooting whitetail. I corresponded with a lady on the PSE forum........she told me that at first she couldn't even pull a 30lb draw weight but eventually worked up to 50 lbs. Just ask a lot of questions first and get a bow you can handle at first.
Good luck

If you really want to get into archery hunting and you don't want terrible gear, but don't want to spend a fortune on a bow, then I would check out the BowTech LadyHawk and BowTech BlackHawk!!!!!!
The BlackHawk will go from 25"-30" draw length and 40#-70# draw weight!!!
The LadyHawk will go from 20"-26" draw length and 30#-60# draw weight!!!
The BlackHawk IBO speed 317 f.p.s. and the LadyHawk IBO speed is 270 f.p.s.
These bows are aimed for the women and younger shooters, but, they are also based on performance. Most other companies out there don't make quality hunting bows for women and young shooters, but BowTech does.

Guys she wants a good but inexpensive bow to start out with. The lady hawk and the mustand are not exactly inexpensive.
My wife is about to be trying out archery for the first time herself. I believe we have decided on the Browning micro adrenaline with the dual hypermax 10 cams. You can get it in either 30 - 40 pounds or 40 - 50 pounds. You can get a package deal on the micro adrenaline at http://64.224.40.78/miva/merchant.mv...y_Code=bowsbra for $211. Look also at the Browning rage and the Martin jaguar.
I would really like to get her into a Parker challenger for $309 but she doesn't want to spend that much right now. If you can afford it these are really sweet little bows.
