I have A PSE Nova and I really like it for my 1st bow. After watching me shoot a few times, my wife wanted to try it. Its set at 53lbs and she couldn't even start to pull it back. But with your shorter draw length, you might be able to get it back. It has a 75% let off so that helps a lot. I'm looking for a 30 to 40lb bow for her to shoot but she doesn't plan on hunting with it. I am not sure what the minimum draw weight is for shooting whitetail. I corresponded with a lady on the PSE forum........she told me that at first she couldn't even pull a 30lb draw weight but eventually worked up to 50 lbs. Just ask a lot of questions first and get a bow you can handle at first.
