I havnt done that yet but twice once on my own arrow and once was a buddys arrow. We were shooting broad heads and I sliced the fletching on the arrow that was in the target. Man slices it like it was paper you can hardly tell. Acually the first time we didnt realize it for a bit until we noticed a piece of the fletching on the ground.

haven't done it yet, came close last season while I was practicing and split a nock and niked a fletch, then I realize how much it would cost to replace, so now I shoot just a little off to avoid costly replacements!

I did that this year at about 20 yards with my new Hoyt Razortec. Love that bow. I use the same arrows as you do the Carbon Express CX 300. They are tough arrows that last great till you split em. I was impressed with how mine only split down as far as the arrow went in. When I first got my bow the guy at the pro shop convinced me that them new Buckeyes are the way to go and they have a lot better penetration than other arrows cause they have that green film on them that gives em extra weight on the front of it. BULL they don't have any better penetration and they are BRITTEL.

I've done it once. First thought was like...cool. Second thought was crap now I don't have anymore target arrows.

I've done it 3 times, but all back when I used to shoot tournaments. I take that back, I had one a couple years ago. There is a guy that visits the archery and hunting forums on the internet. His name is Field 14. Anyway, he was a competitive world class shooter for years. Seems to me someone mentioned Robin Hoods to him one time. He at that time had ,something rediculous, like 48 of them.
