We have a Gander Mountain about 25 miles away in Henrietta,NY. I am impressed with the store. I try to hit the Bass Pro stores when I vacation (Orlando,Fla- Concord,NC- Dania Beach,Fla and the best one Springfield,Mo ).
You almost need to pack a lunch when going to them as there is sooooo much to see.

I have a Gander Mountain about 20 minutes away and they are trying to get a Bass Pro in the old Sabres arena in Buffalo so maybe I will have both someday soon.

Now if Cabelas would just come to town

I've been to that Gander Mountain. It's right of exit 47 from the thruway isn't it? I wouldn't hold your breath about another bass pro going only a couple hours away from the Auburn one. This thing is going to be huge economically for our county.

I just read about that in our local fish wrapper.Great news. We will check it out. That Gander Mountain is a nice shop, real close for me and Joe. We also have a Dick's and Gallyan's just a stones throw from Gander. I'm spoiled but I love it.

My buddies girlfriend moved to Auburn to be the GM at the Sears in the same mall. Supposedly she has a couple tickets to give me for their pre Grand opening party. I'll believe it when I see them. He's a bit of a story teller.
