That is one of the reasons that I am starting to move more into Traditional Archery. I am getting tired of all the technology lately. Just MHO.

Been shootin' the same bow for 10 years now and see no reason to change. Never known the bow to be the reason I didn't get a deer. I don't get caught up in the hype.

I can think of a lot worse "habits" to have guys, and at least we have something to show for it other than empty beer cans and baggies or stuff like that. Please don't feel sorry for yourselves. Look at all the fine choices we have today.
I got a new bow before last season and I'm still looking to add another. It's probably going to cost me about 2 weeks wages and I pay through the nose for child support; and thats just the bare bow.
I totally get where your coming from.

I am with wolfen on this one. Unless you have money to blow I can not see the sense in having to have the latest and greatest if you have something that already works fine and if you think about it, your more confident in something that has produced in the past than something new. Face it if you shoot the same bow ten years you are going to know exactly how the bow shoots in a lot more situation than if you shoot a different bow every year.

Frank he said every year, not every other month! Yes that was a crack, but only out of envy. I want a new bow in the worst way, but I really don't need one either. Mine isn't even 2 years old yet. I was not real big on the bowtechs previously, sure they were fast, but I didn't care for the way they looked. Not the case anymore. The new generation 3.2 and the Black Knight look very good with the swept back limbs and longer riser. Do I see a speed bow in my future, hmmmm, let me think for a while. I just got called back to work today, so I should be able to afford one buy summer.
