I need to vent.
Oh these bow prices keep getting higher and higher it seems. Top flight bows fetching extroardinarily high prices and people willing to pay them. Well, I like my bow I have hunted with for 2 seasons now and will not be buying a new one anytime soon! Why?

Yep, I am on your wavelength, Coug! I went and priced the bow I wanted and it sent me home in a state of shock....without a bow.
But, you can go down to the lumberyard, find a good hardwood board; head for the bookstore and buy all three volumes of the Traditional Bowyers Bible; then sharpen up your pocketknife and whittle out a bow for under a hundred bucks. Each bow after that would cost less than 10 bucks.

I wouldn't even spend that much on one that did go bang CD...
Even I am feeling the "pinch" now that I have other concerns financially. Heck, I even had to sell one of my bows on Ebay this past week....now I am down to one....I am going to have to start selling some of my other "junk" if I am going to buy a new one and pay off the bills....
...or maybe I will just have to go with a less expensive bow next year....
...I bet there are some real quality mid to low price range bows out there....I guess we need to find them....
