My vicarious season
#11
Sorry to hear about your accident !! I haven't put any deer in the freezer as of yet .
I've had some close call's though, and should be finished but that's life .It's not all about killing it's about all the new experiences and the stories that you can share with other's .
A bad day of hunting is better than a good day at work. You take care my friend and hope you can find a wayto get back into the sport we all love so much.

Thanks everyone. I went back to work a few days later, and my apologies for not responding to this sooner. I did not (she wouldn't let me) get ack out into the woods again for the season. I'm all healed up and even bought a new bow. I,m shooting aot at the range and moving ack upstate to the woods so hopefully by next seaon I'll have a new place all picked out and scouted. Actually where I grew up has giant deer but hunting has never been allowed, but now they're allowing bowhunting in the most prime areas you could imagine, so I just may get to hunt big ol bucks in the woods I grew up in>go figure- maybe things do happen for a reason, and can ya believe that NY of all places, is actually smart enough to use deer management?! Glad to hear from all of you, and again, thanks>Chris
