RE: The annoying 8 pointer......
Well it seems this Deer was more annoying and troublesome than I thought. When the nephew dropped the WIFES digital camera into the mud/water puddle I quickly grabbed it out of the muck. After 3 days of letting it sit to dry out I could not get it to work. I took it to the local TV/video/camera repair shot and found out yesterday that they may be able to get the pictures restored off the memory card but the camera is dead.
My wife obviously is not to happy with me right now, so I guess I will be out shopping for a new digital camera as an xmas present for her. Once again pictures coming soon I hope.

Yup, a little move can do wonders for you. That's why I generally try to move ALL the time, even if it's only 30 yards. Congrats on the buck, bummer on the horn. Was he injured in any other way? Seems awfully frail to be having one fall off when he hits the ground.

Nope, no other injury. He fell almost head first into a small tree about 6 inches around at a full run. I think he hit his left shoulder on the tree and it caused him to stumble. He hit head first into the ground and snap went the antler.
