Many of you swear by these books by John Trout Jr.

My question for you is which book to buy?

Amazon is selling Finding Wounded Deer and Tracking Wounded Deer for $40. Are these books about the same? Is one better that the other? Or should I buy them both?

I guess ill buy them both. Its only money.

I have only read " Finding Wounded deer" , but have heard that both of his books are excellent. Good for you for you to become open minded enough to read what experts have learned on the subject. I am 100% sure that learning all you can on the subject will make you a better hunter.

P.S. Are you sure that " Tracking Wounded Deer" is not by Richard Smith. I have read this book also, but find that John Trout' s books are a bit better. JMHO.

I believe that John trout' s other book is called " Trailing Whitetails" . But I have not read that one.

Is that $40 for both? I bought one of his books titled " Finding Wounded Deer" from Amazon for around $24 I beleive.

Ummmmm. It is. How did I over look that? I guess ill save my money and just get Trout' s book.
