Would you tell your best hunting buddy?

Unfortunantly every peice of property I have permission to hunt on only allows one hunter so I would have a hard time answering this one, but when my cousin and I hunted together we took turns on any stands we knew a big one had been spotted at, so I guess the answer for me would be yes I would tell my partner.

Earlier in this post I had said that I would tell my hunting buddy about the big one and I did tell him.Unfortunately, the big deer I was after was harvested wednesday about a mile away from where I first saw him.(not by one of us)
On the flip side, my buddy told me about an even larger PAIR of bucks on a different piece of land. We are going to plan a tag team approach and attempt to get one or both of them tomorrow. I' m glad I told him about the other big one, it works both ways!
The bad thing is, he' s SOOOOO ugly, the deer run from him from 2 miles away[:-]

I would definitely tell my hunting partners. That way we could all be on the watch and make sure that we did not run him over to the neighbors. I would much rather that the buck be taken by one of us than some outsider.

I hunt with my best buddy and friend, who happens also to be my dad. We tell each other everything. Well, I at least tell him everything. I think he tells me everything. Wait. Certain events aren' t adding up, now that I am recalling... Like, like the morning he told me he was gonna sleep in, and I got up and HE WAS GONE!! After the big buck I said I saw! And I couldn' t find my bullets! And one of my boots was missing! I' ll bet he is holding out on me! NOW HE IS IN BIG TROUBLE!!!
My dad just so happens to be arriving tonight from Florida, for our yearly shotgun hunting fiesta! I can' t wait to see him, hunt with him, and laugh until our sides ache.... HURRY UP, DAD!

First, I hope he doesn' t read this message board!!! On the other hand, I am used to hunting with my dad. He and I share information, tips, tactics, sightings, etc. I believe that even if he wasn' t my dad, as a hunting partner I would tell him. Think of it this way, if he has seen the deer and hasn' t told you, by telling him, maybe you can build some trust between you. Isn' t that what a hunting partner is all about anyway?
