" Tick-ed Off"
Butchered the buck Monday night. Nice, healthy and fat but LOTS of ticks. Got nailed by a couple of them. We' ve got a lot of Lyme up here. I had my hunting buddy, who' s an infectious disease doc, write me a script for doxycycline. Anybody else running into this problem?

Guys , go to walmart in the camping section , and buy Repels permanone tick spray, bring your clothes outside and treat them with this stuff, let it dry for 6-8 hours, and then you can wear your clothes again.
You will not have a tick on you , it lasts at least for 2 weeks.
And best of all , once dryed, it is scent free.

Right now, it is pretty slow going, between the weather and abundant acorn crop.
The deer just are not moving good yet.
Last thursday, i saw a small 6 pointer chasing does in a field, but that is all the rut activity i have seen.
Congrats on your deer.
