Though I would not make an effort to " try to pee" where the deer are I, personally, do not think it is as negative a situation as some people make it out to me. On several occasions I have had deer walk in the exact spot where I urinated earlier in the day and they paid it no mind.

back in 83 when i lived in n.j. i even dropped a log out of my tree stand and shot a 9 pointer 1 1/2 hours later at 9 yds from THE SPOT[:-]....i stay in my stand from dawn to dark so some times you just gotta go

havent done it yet but i have read lots of posts about it and from what everyone is sayin that it doesnt spook them and if anything it drives the bucks crzy. i am going to try it when i get back from florida. even though its realy nice here i would rather be out in my tree stand in the snow and cold. florida is nice but i jus cant wait to get home and go hunting agin

I can remember reading something about bucks being able to determine the dominance of another " deer" by the testoterone levels in the urine they smell. So I don' t think a 4-years olds urine will do anything at all. It will probably even come across as an immature deer' s urine. However, if you were to take a leak near your stand it may put bucks on alert that there is another dominant " deer" in the area - and that' s what drives them nuts.
