anyone seeing any rut signs in southern illinois

i have seen a few small bucks come into " the can" and thats it.

In Pope County they are running does in some areas. The does are not ready yet so they are running strong away from the bucks. I have seen them running them till around 1pm then settling down till dusk. They are responding to scents now and grunting. I even had a forker come into rattling. I have heard lots of grunting and fighting so things are heating up in that area. This was even during the 75 degree days. I have tried the can with no luck so far, but will not give up on it.
