Nope. never have.
Then again I rarely eat also. I can go all day without food or drink or a smoke[]
I like to tough it out when I hunt 200yds from my truck in suburbia USA
I don' t think the smell will really hurt you - if they smell the java they will smell you.

I have before. I think it mostly depends on where you are hunting like anything else.
If you hunt " suburban deer" then I think it is likely not to spook these kind of deer. As opposed to deer in the rural Mountains Tthat are more sensitive to those kind of odors. The former is the kind of deer I mostly hunt and I have brought coffee in the stand before without seeing the white flags.
Whether or not ole mossy horns never came around because of it I cannot say. But I can say that during the rut those big boys don' t really care and if some coffee is going to enhance your hunt then bring a big jug of it with ya!

I have it for breakfast on the way there. But in the stand I drink Hot Chocolate. I t seems that I see more deer when drinking hot chocolate than coffee. So thats what I drink now. Sometimes I bring a thermos of soup for those cold Jan. and Feb. hunts.

I' m paranoid about drinking coffee on or before hunts. I drink ALOT of coffee every day. In fact it smells like coffee going in and coming out. It' s hard to not have a cup when I get up but I go cold turkey until the hunt is over.
