I' ve seen them before but never used one. I thought about giving them a try but I' m uncomfortable about using a candle in the woods.

My friend used something similar, that worked pretty well. They were like " punks" used to light fireworks. About a 1/4 inch thick and 10 inches long. Lasted quite a long time, but I don' t remember what they were.

last spring when bear hunting, I was burning annis incense and a big doe showed up. She was well aware of my presence, but kept making circles around me and the burning sticks for 20 minutes, I just pulled out my camera and started taking pictures, she came as close as 15 yds. Guess she knew it was out of season

I bought some Tinks rut sticks. They look like big incense sticks.I' m gonna try one in the morning and see what happens.Hopefully it doesn' t scare the deer.I' ve tried a few different lures without any success. But what the heck I' ll give it a try.Rifle season starts in 9 days hope i can get a buck before then.If not time to get out the woodsmaster 740 and head North.

I tried one of those tink sticks today.I got to my hunting spot and it was drizzling.I put one of them 15 yards from my stand.Soon after that it started snowing pretty good.Well I didn' t see any bucks but I did see a doe.Of course it was upwind and about 80 yards away. After the stick burned out a squirrel stopped to check it out and stole it!
